Job Title: Planned Maintenance Supervisor – Social Housing
Location: Manchester
Salary: £42,000 plus car allowance and company benefits.

About Us: Our client is a reputable social housing provider committed to maintaining high-quality living standards. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Planned Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic and dedicated reactive maintenance team.
Role Overview: As the Planned Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering planned maintenance works across a social housing project. The schemes will cover Externals, Windows, Roofing, Kitchens, and Bathrooms.
You will ensure that all maintenance projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Working closely with contractors, suppliers, and in-house teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and meet all regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage the delivery of planned maintenance projects, ensuring all works are completed to specification and on schedule.
2. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to coordinate planned maintenance activities.
3. Monitor and control budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
4. Oversee the preparation and execution of work schedules for planned maintenance.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
6. Report regularly on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management.
7. Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of maintenance operatives.
8. Review and assess the quality of completed works and address any defects or issues promptly.
9. Monitor contractor performance and maintain strong working relationships with external service providers.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in managing planned maintenance projects within the social housing sector.
2. Strong knowledge of building maintenance, property management, and relevant regulations.
3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and contractors.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
6. Experience in budget management and cost control.
7. A relevant qualification in construction, building management, or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND).
8. Full UK driving license.
