Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Folkestone. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contractual dealings with clients, with a focus on maximizing profits and resolving disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost management, contract administration, and financial reporting.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and negotiation to maximize profits.
* Handle contractual disputes and provide expert advice on resolution strategies.
* Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
* Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong understanding of contractual dealings and dispute resolution.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
