Southern Water are rolling out a software package for asset management. This role will be heavily involved in analysing data relating to this software, providing reports, making recommendations for improvements, and supporting users on the software. Job Overview As a people person, you will engage with stakeholders across the business to understand how they are utilising the software and sharing best practice to ensure Southern Water are able to capture data accurately. A large part of this role will be encouraging adoption of the new software and ensuring best practice as well as analysing the data. The types of data you will be working with includes (but isn’t limited to) water and treatment assets, field assets, asset failures, overflows, work orders and delivery to help the business to understand performance issues and areas for improvement. About You You will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and an appetite to find areas for improvement and make those improvements happen. You will have: Knowledge and ability to extract data from an asset management system such as Alteryx or Qlik Experience in PowerBI with the ability to create dashboards Experience with Maximo, ESRI ArcGIS or similar products Established experience in a Data Analyst role People skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels Ability to develop data products, including data visualisation in tools such as Qliksense, Power BI; data preparation and manipulation using Alteryx, SQL, R etc, Knowledge of statistical modelling and trend forecasting A curiosity for asking how and why Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington (Worthing) office and home.
