ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a People Services Administrator to join our People Team, who is responsible for carrying out high-quality administration relating to people processes and payroll. Reporting to the Senior People Services & Payroll Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring consistent, high-level service across the business. RESPONSIBILITIES Employee life-cycle processes: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure all new starters receive a smooth onboarding process and have all the necessary information before their first day. Creation of contracts of employment, contract amendment letters and leaver acknowledgement letters. Ensure relevant right-to-work documentation is obtained ahead of the employee start date. Maintain the right-to-work database and escalate any issues to the relevant HR Business Partner. Work closely with JCB payroll each month to input new starters, leavers and any internal changes by updating the HR system, ensuring the monthly deadline is met. Complete reference requests when required. Administration: Provide support on all HR systems including issuing logins and assisting with password resets. Run HR data reports from the HR system as requested by managers and other members of the people team. Escalate issues as appropriate to the HR Business Partners. Use initiative to continuously improve our HR administration processes, to provide an effective, accurate and prompt HR service. Support the people team with admin relating to project and engagement initiatives when required. Organise and maintain personnel records. Help oversee the payroll inbox, responding to any questions or queries from employees and managers. Maintain records of short-term and long-term absences, including return-to-work assessments. Be a point of contact for employees and managers when it comes to people processes. Escalate any issues to your manager for support and guidance.
