Job Description
* Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the company.
* Support with year-end preparation.
* Implement and maintain effective control procedures.
* Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
* Assist the business with an ERP implementation.
* Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
* Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Coordinate with the management team on strategic financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting regulations.
* Evaluate the company's performance using key data.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
* A professional accounting qualification.
* Proven experience in an accounting or finance role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
This role is 5 days a week in the office in Glasgow - no remote working.
