Assistant Gypsy & Traveller Services Officer needed in Cardiff, £13.47ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1343796
Responsibilities:
1. Provide a reception service for all telephone enquiries and direct presentations at the Gypsy Traveller site office, offering basic advice, support, and assistance for all service users and external providers.
2. Encourage and facilitate the provision of additional support through referrals to other officers within the service as required.
3. Ensure the efficient and effective running of the Gypsy & Traveller service and the welfare of its residents, including managing and processing the daily sales of utility credits and updating relevant records.
4. Assist with the reconciliation and banking of utility credits on a weekly basis.
5. Present and prepare information as required, including statistical information such as bi-annual census counts of Gypsy & Traveller caravans and monthly core data.
6. Receive and record new repairs and refer these to the appropriate officers for further investigation.
7. Undertake general administrative duties, including scanning, indexing, photocopying, record keeping, maintaining stationery supplies, invoicing, and convening meetings and distributing minutes.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
