Remuneration and benefits We estimate the salary range for this role to be £40,000.00 and £50,000.00 per annum. The role As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering innovative engineering solutions to complex decommissioning challenges. You’ll oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality objectives while navigating the unique risks and hazards associated with nuclear sites. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing stakeholder relationships, financial performance, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Your duties and responsibilities will be Lead the delivery of multiple high-value projects, ensuring exceptional outcomes. Manage financial performance, driving efficiency and best practices. Facilitate stakeholder engagement through reviews and progress meetings. Conduct negotiations with customers, stakeholders, and sub-contractors. Implement effective risk management strategies to address project challenges.You will have the following qualifications & experience Strong foundation years as a Project Manager in a nuclear or highly regulated environment. Experience managing high-value projects with a degree in Project Management or a related field. Essential knowledge of operations on highly regulated sites. APM qualifications are essential. Familiarity with planning, risk, and cost management at project and program levels. Understanding of stage-gate principles and project team motivation techniques.It’s great if you also have the following Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral. Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to finding solutions. Excellent organisational skills to manage time and resources effectively. A passion for continuous learning and professional development.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
