An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team within Psychiatry of Old Age (Dundee) In-Patient Services. We are looking for an individual with substantial knowledge and experience of delivering care within a Psychiatry of Old Age setting to join our team. You will assist the Senior Charge Nurse to manage and lead an established ward team to promote and deliver high quality evidence based therapeutic care for patients. You will have the ability to demonstrate and supervise clinical practice and in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse plan, co-ordinate and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care within your area of responsibility. You will have knowledge of Mental Health Legislation, clinical standards or care and display good presentation, interpersonal, communication and time management skills; previous extensive experience of working with older people and proven leadership skills are essential.
