This is a lean firm but with a value add investment philosophy, allowing each member of the team to gain brilliant exposure. They have a very modern and forward-thinking approach to investment. To date, this team have successfully transacted multiple billions of deals in their decade plus history – due to growth, they are now looking to add a new individual to their team. The Role Will Include: You will a pivotal member of a team responsible for “cradle to grave” transactions – with exposure to acquisitions, asset management, value creation and disposition Assisting in sourcing investments with a primary focus on the UK – utilising agents and brokers, as well as non-conventional sources like local authorities, private families, lawyers, banks Deep analysis of investment opportunities using Excel models and other tools Preparing investment committee memos Assisting in the execution of bank financing, structuring debt terms and assisting with documentation Interacting with investors both existing and prospective Assisting with the development and execution of asset management strategies Assisting with quarterly reporting The Candidate Will Likely Possess: Strong analytical experience appraising transactions – with the ability to build cashflow models from scratch. Demonstrable ability to quickly see through complex and often conflicting facts to distil problem down to their essential, critical elements Superb eye for detail and the ability to deliver client-ready work the first time around A willingness to work in a self-directed way at times, but at equally able to excel collaboratively Exceptional technical skills a given Excellent English language skills (with other European languages as an advantage)
