Our client is expanding and seeking a Claims Manager to lead and manage a team of claims handlers at their Orpington office.
* This role will involve providing guidance and mentorship to your team while monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality targets are met.
* You will oversee the processing of claims, conduct file reviews, and sign off on court documents. Additionally, you will handle internal audits for fee earners, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need previous experience in insurance claims, at least one year in a supervisory role, and a full understanding of civil litigation. You’ll have excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple priorities.
