We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Clerk/Administrator with excellent organisational skills to work within a busy department supporting Service Engineers, Customers, and planning and expediting orders.
As an Administrator for the Department, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the department in relation to Planned Service, Installation, and Responsive Repairs of roller shutter and speed doors.
You will be answering customer calls and engineer calls and organising installations, repairs, and customer queries as well as quotes and invoicing.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. First point of contact for incoming telephone calls
2. Costing engineer's reports
3. Purchase order requests to clients inclusive of follow-up
4. Weekly liaison with clients on planned works
5. Generating client quotations inclusive of follow-up
6. Process any incoming quotations including the purchase of parts
7. Verification of engineer's weekly timesheets
8. Issue engineers job sheets
9. Supporting with invoicing
10. Process returns to suppliers
11. Completion & submission of site induction information
12. Organising accommodation for engineers
13. Co-ordinating courier collections & site access equipment
14. Monitor & Manage van fleet
15. Prepare engineers allowances
Minimum Requirements
The person
1. Experienced Administration Assistant
2. Highly organised
3. Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
4. Excellent decision-making ability
5. Ability to thrive under pressure
6. Ability to multitask
7. Experience in Microsoft Office
8. Educated to GSCE in both Maths and English or equivalent
This role will become permanent after a probation period.
