Your new team This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. The UK market is a well-developed, competitive environment with a number of large competitors selling to very well developed trade segments. The On Trade consists of over 120,000 licensed premises supplied by a number of large national and many small regional wholesalers. Pernod Ricard UK manages the On Trade through 4 aligned business units - Field Sales, Prestige, Managed Retail and Route To Market. The On trade remains a vibrant channel to engage consumers and has seen positive value growth in recent years. Thus the channel is an important contributor to the profit of Pernod Ricard in the UK as well as playing a vital role in building the equity of our brands with consumers. Your unique contribution You will have 3 main areas of responsibility: Maximise : availability, visibility and ROS to targeted On Trade customers for Pernod Ricard strategic brands within a designated post code territory. With a specific focus on helping drive share in line with growth targets. Work in Collaboration : with Brand Ambassadors, Customer Marketing and the wider Field Sales team to grow contract compliance, share of presence and ultimately volume with our key independent free trade customers. Project Focus: Assist in driving volume, engagement and distribution forward to achieve the PRUK Fair share of the On Trade market. Who you’ll be working with: Internally, your main stakeholders will be the Field Sales Manager and Channel Manager, Regional CAE, Brand Managers, Customer Marketing Managers and Brand Ambassadors. Externally, you will interface with Route to Market wholesalers customers and consumers. Your blend of talent This position could be right for you if you: Engage and develop new business through independent on trade venues. Engage with local RTMs to facilitate growth and develop. Gain new listings across the portfolio to increase distribution and house pour status in major categories (vodka, gin, rum, champagne). Maximise visibility to increase brand awareness, through on-trade activation (brand takeovers and sponsorship) Collaborate with Brand Activation teams to organise staff education to ensure recommendation by driving bartender and consumer advocacy. Evaluate activity to determine effectiveness and measurement of objectives (SMART).
