What is the opportunity?
The Leeds office is looking for a Director to take on leadership and responsibility of the Charities Investment Management team. The team manages significant assets for a wide range of Charity and Institutional clients throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will help develop strong partnerships with existing and potential charity clients, tailoring and actively managing investment portfolios to meet their particular needs, reporting on progress and enhancing the relationship through value-added services.
You will seek to identify new client relationships and opportunities by developing business through key origination tactics and networks, ultimately building the profile of the Charities team.
What will you do?
* Be responsible for the management of a Charities client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and further increasing business with the generation of new clients.
* Consistently leading interactions on Investment process and solutions, ensuring all interactions lead to a full understanding of the financial, personal goals and ambitions of the charities clients.
* Operate with a growth mindset, managing a new business target, leading business development activities, and contributing towards the achievement of the group business plan, vision, and strategy.
* Work as part of the broader Wealth Management Europe (WME) team, introducing the right specialists to client relationships, where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
* Embody an operational excellence mindset to leverage the capacity created from process and system enhancements for growth.
* Lead and manage team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members’ professional growth and delivery of exceptional services.
* Drive performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, individual development conversations, and planning.
* Meet FCA qualification and WME internal requirements for authorisation to provide advice in complex and specialised areas as required.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Previous experience working with and managing assets on behalf of Charities clients.
* Level 6 CIB, CISI or CII and maintains SPS in line with professional body requirements.
* Registration with the appropriate regulatory body: as permitted to give advice.
* Significant experience within a Wealth Management role.
* Proven Relationship Management skills: Have an ability to understand client needs and the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate issues and solutions.
* Superior Business development skills.

* Previous people management experience.
