This role involves teaching German at Key Stage 3 level, inspiring students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and enthusiasm for learning. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of students in Key Stage 3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve. Differentiate teaching approaches to ensure all students make progress. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular language activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the MFL department to enhance the curriculum and learning experience. Requirements: A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience or ability to teach German at Key Stage 3. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for languages and teaching. Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous professional development. Desirable: Experience of teaching other languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an advantage. Experience in using innovative teaching tools and technology.
