A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Secretarial Team supporting Cellular Pathology. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide valuable support to our growing teams and departments.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should already possess 4 GCSEs (grades 9-4) or equivalent, and have knowledge of MS Office, general office procedures, and audio experience. A helpful nature, along with an enthusiastic and focused attitude towards tasks, is essential.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holders will undertake general support duties within the team, helping to ensure an efficient and well-rounded service is provided. The post holder will be expected to work accurately to deadlines with the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload, after induction training.
This post will include all aspects of secretarial duties, predominantly audio transcribing patient reports, alongside scanning, filing, and any other support tasks requested by the Admin Office Lead.
The ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload is essential, as are good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of staff groups at all levels. The successful applicant will work as part of a team and will gain valuable experience in the day-to-day management of busy Medical Secretaries' offices.
