Salary: £47,664 - £58,628 per annum dependent on experience.
About: The Diocese of Salford is seeking a Building Surveyor to oversee a range of projects on diocesan properties. You’ll manage projects from design to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting inspections, and liaising with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage projects including design, tendering, and contractor management.
2. Support property repairs, alterations, and insurance claims.
3. Ensure compliance with regulations and prepare statutory approvals.
4. Build strong relationships with diocesan staff and external parties.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Accredited building qualification (degree level).
2. Experience in construction and project management.
3. Competent in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
4. Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
1. Chartered membership (RICS or equivalent).
2. Experience in conservation and listed building projects.
