Following a period of continual growth, we are excited to be recruiting a Technical Delivery Manager to join the team.
In this role, you will work with the product and software development, customer operations and wider business team to ensure on-time delivery of new software projects and products.
We are a fast-paced SaaS company that provides applications within the renewable energy sector. You will help create and nurture new and existing processes and procedures and look to implement a delivery framework enabling our product and software teams to achieve high-quality software outcomes on time.
The team include the engineering product team, who are also responsible for modelling. In this role, you will look at product plans – and look to create a pipeline for the coming 3-6-9 months with a key project deliverable as your priority.
Key responsibilities include:
* Process Improvement - Implement Structure/Framework/Governance to ensure a smooth transition resulting from fast, high quality and accurate delivery.
* Teams - Work with, guide, and influence the engineering and product teams to buy into this process.
* Roadmap - Driving roadmap/product plans across multiple streams-key business units focusing on business value.
* Agile - Direct and support cross-functional agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.
* Continuous Improvement - Promote a culture of continuous learning and process optimisation within teams, implementing feedback loops and retrospective insights to drive improvements.
* Best in Class - Champion best in class Product and Engineering Management processes
Experience and Qualifications Required:
* 10+ years Programme / Process management leadership – advisory roles, preferably within the SAAS environment, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of SaaS, software development background and Dev/Ops structures.
* Competent in Agile delivery methodologies
* Technical proficiency in Java/Spring, SQL and AWS.
* Track Record in building processes and process Improvement / Process Efficiency and has successfully managed software projects and initiatives, from conception to implementation, within budget and timeline constraints.
* Excellent communication, listening and influencing skills
* Provide excellent project reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders where required.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
