To provide mobile plant cover throughout the Lancashire region on a rolling 5 week basis. You will carry out duties individually, or as a member of a team, for operations to control, transfer and stockpile waste & recyclables at a busy material transfer stations. About the role Location: Lancashire Region, (will cover 5 sites over Lancashire Region) Mobile Plant covers across all Lancashire sites over a 5-week rolling rota. Salary £31,625.45 per annum / £12.76 per hour Working 47.5 hours per week Company Van provided (must have clean driving Licence) Shift Pattern: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday Week 4 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 5 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (rota subject to change in line with transfer station cover requirements) What will you be doing Operating mobile and fixed plant, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Managing traffic, such as guiding tipping vehicles. Operate the weighbridge and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site. Ensure that SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties, in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions. Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with site permits, all applicable legislation and SUEZ Policies and Procedures. Co-operating directly with customers and members of the public, providing excellent customer service. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role, including undertaking first aider / fire safety duties on site. What are the Requirements? MUST have a valid UK drivers licence. Operational experience and current licences for loading shovel is essential, 360 tele-handler and forklift is desirable. You'll have the opportunity to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, maintenance of site equipment, infrastructure and operation of site machinery.
