About the role
This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm, working 1:1 with a child in Y1 who needs additional support with challenging behaviour
This role will commence in September 2024 and will be on going with a potential to become long term, depending on the needs of the school at the time.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning and SEND experience would be desirable.
The Role
Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support for a Y1 child on a 1:1 basis. Must be flexible to changing environments.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
1. Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools.
2. Experience in EYFS Environment would be desirable
3. Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment.
4. Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
5. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
6. Have experience supporting children in primary education in Early Years.
