Job summary The appointed Clinical Fellow (CF) will provide specialist care to breast patients with senior support and will work alongside Breast Consultants, Associate Specialists and Doctors in training, in the provision of a high-quality elective, urgent and emergency Breast service for the patients attending Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust. The appointed CF will have no On Call commitment but will assess and manage emergency breast patients during working hours. The appointed CF will be able to work independently and unsupervised but escalate and ask for support when required. The wider Breast multi-professional team includes Consultant Surgeons, Consultant Radiologists, Cancer Nurse Specialists, Physician Associates, Radiographers and other healthcare professionals contributing to the care of Breast patients.
