Halton Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Domestic Abuse Services Manager to shape our corporate response to domestic abuse, develop and improve service provisions, and oversee the multi-agency response to high-risk cases through the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).
About the Role
As the Domestic Abuse Services Manager, you will:
✅ Lead and manage a team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality frontline services.
✅ Develop strong partnerships to create a holistic, family-focused approach to domestic abuse intervention and prevention.
✅ Oversee the commissioning, procurement, and performance monitoring of specialist domestic abuse services.
✅ Ensure that risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals to MARACs are consistently applied to protect survivors.
✅ Provide operational and budgetary management for domestic abuse and sexual violence services.
✅ Keep up to date with legal frameworks and best practices, implementing changes at a local level.
✅ Drive service improvement by identifying gaps, developing strategies, and ensuring high performance across domestic abuse services.
