Senior Ranger at Grafham Water Permanant / Full Time £30,000-35,000 per annum depending on skills and experience Protecting parks and people. Join the team as a Senior Ranger. Grafham Water, a beautiful and diverse 1,500-acre reservoir and visitor attraction is looking for a dedicated Senior Ranger to join our team. The role involves a unique combination of facilities and fisheries management, customer service, and operational delivery within a stunning natural environment. As Senior Ranger, you'll be responsible for leading a passionate team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of site presentation and health and safety across the park. You will be motivated an inspired to manager people, delight customers and solve operational challenges on a fast-paced visitor focused country park. Key Responsibilities: Team Leader: Supervise the ranger team, promoting excellent performance, customer satisfaction, and delivery of a nationally renowned fishery. Maintaining and documenting Health and Safety records, systems and activities Customer Engagement & Brand Promotion: Deliver customer interactions that encourage repeat visits to our park and deliver happiness to our visitors, while promoting the Anglian Water brand and all our water parks. Operational Excellence & Health and Safety: Support the team in maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring facilities are clean and operational and beautifully presented Team Collaboration: Work closely with the park's management team to deliver high standards of presentation, safety, and customer care. Event Support: Provide assistance with the planning, coordination, and delivery of park events and activities, contributing to an excellent visitor experience. We're looking for somebody who has: A full, valid driving license Is motivated and loves a challenge Thrives on delivering great service to visitors Is looking to grow and develop in a career as we grow and develop our Park business A passion for the outdoors, community engagement and service Tractor and/or; chainsaw tickets or; experience of working in a practical environment Experience in park operations, countryside management, land management or a related field The ability to motivate a team and manage processes to achieve high customer satisfaction. A proactive approach to maintaining high housekeeping and presentation standards across the park. Flexibility to support and contribute to all aspects of park operations, including event management and cross-functional teamwork. Why Join Us?
