Electrical Supervisor needed for a commercial project This role can be TEMP TO PERM we’re looking for a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to manage and oversee the electrical installations and maintenance for an exciting new commercial project. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and ensure the smooth execution of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all electrical work on-site, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, power, wiring, distribution, and other electrical infrastructure). Oversee the day-to-day activities of electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications. Coordinate with the project manager, engineers, and other site supervisors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other trades. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure proper execution of electrical systems. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and progress, addressing any issues as they arise. Ensure that all electrical installations are completed in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of electrical work completed, including materials used and project progress. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues or challenges on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline. Ensure that electrical work is completed within budget and report any variations or discrepancies to the project manager. Provide leadership and training to electrical team members, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. Assist in the coordination and delivery of electrical equipment and materials to the site. Requirements: GOLD ECS CARD SSSTS / SMSTS Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in a commercial construction environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning. Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and building standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety. Previous experience working on large-scale commercial projects is highly preferred.
