Job Description DRIVE is a company-wide transformation programme to fundamentally change how Rotork operates by implementing a single IT platform (D365), underpinned by consistent processes across all functions across the business. This role will ensure the strategic alignment and efficient allocation of people working on the Project DRIVE programme against the planned programme activities to ensure efficient resource utilisation and sustainable change is embedded. This is a contract position, that can be based in Bath, Manchester or Leeds on a Hybrid basis. (3 days on site/2 remote). Key Responsibilities and Outcomes: Facilitate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to define resource requirements for DRIVE transformation initiatives. Develop and own the holistic DRIVE resource demand, allocation, and management process. Look for ongoing improvements to continually increase the efficiency of DRIVE resource management. Create and maintain a holistic resource allocation and forecasting view that identifies resource constraints, contention, and gaps. Develop options for resolution where impacts are identified and escalate for resolution. Capture future resource requirements to develop a short, medium and long-term forward-looking DRIVE resource demand view based on portfolio / programme / project plans, close liaison with the relevant managers and (where appropriate) wider business plans. Collate and track holidays and long-term absences of resources, that impact allocation to programmes and projects. Work closely with HR and line management to facilitate succession planning, including knowledge management. Work closely with HR and line management to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding of individuals as required. Work with DRIVE HR Business Partner to maintain a database of DRIVE resources, their skills/attributes, location, availability, and contract details to enable agile resource allocation as needed. Create a portfolio of resource Management Information (MI) and insights to easily show capacity v demand, horizon hotspots, key resource points of failure, utilisation, and other metrics. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on resource planning, availability, and challenges. Act as a liaison between DRIVE programme / project teams and other departments to ensure alignment and integration. Implement tools and processes to track resource capacity and optimise efficiency. Foster a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement in resource management practices.
