Job Duties:
The PPA Cover Teacher will be responsible for providing cover for primary school classes when the regular teacher is absent. This includes delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing the classroom, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience working in a similar role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
The PPA Cover Teacher will work in a primary school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. The role may involve working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
