Facilities Manager

Working with a leader in the global sports apparel and athletic industry, you will have the opportunity to participate in one of their most ambitious projects working in partnership with key leaders and COEs for FM services, developing a detailed and thorough understanding of the facility services operating model for their UK Distribution Center with a specific focus on facility management, building maintenance, workplace services, rolling equipment, food offerings, sport, and meetings and events.
Role responsibilities include and experience required in:
* Partnership & Collaboration: Working in close partnership with key leaders and COEs for FM services to develop a detailed and thorough understanding of the facility services operating model for their UK Distribution Centre.
* Scope Definition & Cost Analysis: Analyzing and detailing the scope of works for quotation purposes, including expected operating costs for the different service packages (facility management, building maintenance, workplace services, rolling equipment, food offerings, sport, meetings, and events). This requires a strong analytical approach and the ability to project future operational costs.
* Tender Management: In collaboration with the procurement team, running parallel tender programs from initial scoping through to contract signature. Experience with complex tender processes is essential.
* Operating Model Development: Developing an initial operating model outlining how these facility services will connect and support other functional areas within the distribution center when operational. This includes understanding the interdependencies between different departments and ensuring seamless integration of services.
* Pre-Operational Phase: Collaborating with the construction team to understand building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, SOPs, and emergency response procedures. Managing the commissioning and handover of building systems. Sourcing and procuring necessary equipment and supplies. Establishing key vendor relationships.
