Finance Assistant

We are excited to announce the expansion of our Finance Department and are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team. Day to day of the role:
* Managing Purchase and Sales Ledger activities.
* Ensuring invoices are sent to clients within set deadlines via the portal system.
* Producing ad-hoc reports as required.
* Maintaining timely payments from our clients while fostering positive relationships.
* Resolving invoice queries efficiently.
* Reconciling bank and supplier statements.
* Organising filing, managing emails, and ensuring cloud storage of all paperwork is up to date.
* Assisting with Monthly VAT returns and Monthly Payroll preparation.
* Supporting any other tasks within the Finance Department as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in purchase and sales ledger management.
* Competence with Sage 50 or a similar Sage package.
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.
* Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
* Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
