Job Title:Digital Content Administrator Dept:eCommerce Report to: eCommerce Manager Main Purpose of Job: The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality digital content across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This includes creating written, visual, and video content that aligns with our marketing strategy and brand voice Key Tasks: Develop, write, and edit digital content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms. Create compelling graphics, infographics, and visual content using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva. Produce and edit videos for social media, YouTube, and other digital channels using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy. Conduct research to understand target audiences, industry trends and competitor content strategies. Optimize content for SEO to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic to the website Manage and maintain the companys social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. Plan and schedule social media posts using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer or Sprout Social Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages and foster community interactions. Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights and other relevant metrics. Prepare and present regular reports on social media activity, successes and upcoming campaigns. Use data to refine and improve content strategies and campaigns. Work closely with designers, marketers and other team members to ensure content is aligned with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content initiatives. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times. Ensure good working relations with colleagues. Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum. Person Specification The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate that they can meet the following essential requirements. An ability to meet the desirable requirements will also be advantageous. Essential Criteria: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field Proven experience as a Content Creator, Digital Content Specialist, or similar role Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Experience with video production and editing Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practice Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress Excellent organizational and time-management skills Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital media. Ability to work well under pressure/in a fast-paced environment Enjoys a challenge, determined and motivated. Good ability to work independently/as part of a team and a positive attitude. Flexibility with working hours (essential) Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in a similar role.
