Project Engineer Salary:£40,000 - £47,478 based on experience

Orion is partnered with a well-established FMCG Food manufacturing company based in Wrexham which is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Project Engineer.

Project Engineer responsibilities:

1. Supporting the Projects Manager with the planning, building, installation and commissioning of all elements of new build project work across the Village Bakery Group. Current live projects include; Build and Commissioning of a new extension - 70,000 sq/ft bakery on the Wrexham Industrial estate campus.
2. Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work in, or visit, any of our manufacturing facilities.
3. Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies and energy optimisation.
4. Managing projects contractor performance whilst on site to ensure the most effective and efficient fix.
5. Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our market-leading production facilities as part of our continued drive for innovation.
6. Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required.
