About the Team
Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dedicated EHC Plan Coordinator to join our SENDAR (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Team, as we continue to develop our strong, growing service with additional roles and responsibilities that reflects and responds to the evolving landscape of SEND. We can offer you dedicated Business Support as well as a team of Assistant Plan Coordinators, a robust induction, a supportive line management structure and an Agile Working Offer.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of Warwickshire young people, with responsibility for the assessment and review process and acting as the point of contact throughout. They will actively promote partnership working with families, children, young people, a range of educational establishments and professionals from education, health, social care and the voluntary sector.
Key Requirements
* The new post holder will be an experienced EHC Plan Coordinator or have experience working in the area of SEND within a local authority or educational setting context.
* They will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, be able to work to statutory timescales, possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and have a willingness to work proactively with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes within available time and financial resources.
* They can adapt to working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage conflicting priorities whilst prioritising communication and collaborative working.
