Your role:
Lead the charge in developing, delivering, and coordinating a core training program in collaboration with our local partners. You'll be at the forefront of:
* Shaping whole-setting approaches
* Pioneering early identification and intervention strategies
* Creating a place-based model for addressing diverse therapy needs
Core Training Offer:

* Educate, coach, and upskill adults who work with children and young people (CYP)
* Focus on improving speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
* Empower the community to better support our CYP's development and well-being

Main duties of the job

As a key member of our team, you will lead on the following critical activities:
* Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for various stakeholders.
* Training Program Development: Create innovative and comprehensive training materials tailored to our parents/families, educational settings and team around the CYP needs.
* Training Coordination: Manage logistics, schedules, and resources to ensure smooth program execution.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with partners and participants to maximize program impact.
* Continuous Improvement: Incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training.
Your Team:
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physiotherapists. Collaborate with external experts including educational psychologists and specialist teachers to ensure our training program delivers maximum impact.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
* Health Professions Council Licence to Practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development and personal development
Desirable
* Registered Member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
* Attendance of relevant CEN Group
EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Evidence of specialist knowledge/skills resulting from clinical experience and CPD.
* Experience of producing and delivering training packages to a variety of audiences
* Clinical experience in a variety of settings.
* Demonstrates knowledge of a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions
* Demonstrates knowledge of coaching and training
* Demonstrates awareness of the roles of other professionals
* Demonstrates awareness of standards of record keeping
