Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust\'s Digital Services Division has a vacancy for an experienced Operations Engineer to join the Central Systems team as a Senior Technical Support Analyst. Alongside the rest of the team you will support our Data Centre environments, infrastructure therein, and project services for business and clinical systems.

We have an ongoing programme of work planned to continually improve our security and services; as well as maintaining a successful support service, you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the delivery of IT services; you should have previous experience in supporting business critical systems and infrastructure, and be able to apply that experience to the design and implementation of projects.
Working alone and as part of a team you will be organised, self-motivated, and possess effective written and verbal communication skills. You will have an enthusiasm for IT and a commitment to learning new technologies and skills. You should have excellent technical knowledge and experience in a number of key areas, notably supporting infrastructure systems such as VMware, Veeam, Windows 2019 Servers, storage platforms and Active Directory.
The Central Systems team also develop a number of systems which support our service and so the ability to develop in PowerShell and any experience in automation through the use of scripting and configuration management platforms would be advantageous.

Working Pattern: hours per week,Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:30.

Pay : The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
