Themis Recruit are seeking a skilled and motivated Immigration Solicitor with at least three years of experience to join our clients dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in immigration law, particularly in the areas of skilled worker visas, sponsor licenses applications, and other related immigration matters. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to both individual and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and supporting clients through the visa application process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert legal advice on immigration matters, with a focus on skilled worker visas, sponsor licenses, and business immigration matters.
* Draft and review visa applications, sponsor license applications, and other immigration documentation.
* Advise employers on their duties and responsibilities as sponsors under the UK’s immigration system.
* Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of immigration applications to ensure compliance with the Home Office and other regulatory bodies.
* Stay updated on changes to immigration law and policy, ensuring clients are informed of relevant developments.
* Handle client queries, offering tailored legal solutions and ensuring the best possible outcomes.
* Represent clients in immigration-related hearings or appeals, as required.
* Maintain accurate records of client matters and manage caseloads efficiently.
* Work closely with other team members, providing guidance and support when necessary.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in immigration law, specifically in skilled worker visas and sponsor license applications.
* Strong knowledge of UK immigration laws, regulations, and Home Office policies.
* Experience advising businesses on sponsor license compliance and maintaining sponsorship duties.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and client care.
Desirable:
* Experience with other areas of immigration law, such as family visas, permanent residency, or appeals.
