Title: Facilities Engineer
Contract Position based at: Whitley, some travel to Gaydon, Ansty Park, and Lyons Park. Full time on site
Umbrella Rate: £26.65 /hour
Length of Contract: 12 Months

What You Will Do:
1. Support Engineering Operations activities, ensuring the safe, smooth, efficient, and effective operation of Test Facilities for product development.
2. Uphold the company's 'Destination Zero' policies by demonstrating safe working practices.
3. Tackle problem-solving with control systems, contributing to the team's success.
4. Communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing, with team members and customers.
5. Show a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
6. Utilize computer literacy to enhance workflow and documentation.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies.
2. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
3. Experienced in problem-solving control systems.
4. Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing.
5. Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.
6. Ability to follow written and spoken instructions and interface well with customers.
7. Ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail.
8. Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
9. A full UK driving license.
Preferred:
1. Technical expertise and experience of test facilities and control systems for AVL, ABB, and Horiba.
2. Knowledge of Fuels.
3. Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
4. Problem-solving qualification.
5. Knowledge of company Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH, and SDS.
6. Knowledge of fluid controls, ventilation systems, and chilled fluids.
Education:
1. A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
2. Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science.
