Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Salary / Benefits: 135 - 200 Day rate + Benefits
A South West based Asbestos Removal company is seeking to take on a hardworking and efficient Asbestos Removal Supervisor. The successful candidate will come from a strong removals background, holding the Asbestos Supervisors' ticket and will have experience overseeing and managing licensed and non-licensed projects on Commercial, Public, & Residential sites. You will also be responsible for providing training when required to both new and existing employees and acting as the first point of contact with clients, providing excellent support and advice. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Experience working as a Removal Supervisor for an established Asbestos Removals company.
2. Holding an in-date Asbestos Supervisor ticket is essential to the role.
3. Well versed in relevant H&S / HSE and ARCA guidelines.
4. Liaising with clients and colleagues efficiently via phone, email, and face to face.
5. Supervising and managing a team of operatives in a fair and business-efficient manner.
6. Managing workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
1. Supervising asbestos removal contracts on both licensed and non-licensed projects across Commercial, Public, & Residential sites.
2. Completing and submitting ASB5 to the correct authority.
3. Producing and amending site-specific RAMS.
4. Efficiently managing a team of operatives.
5. Being the first point of contact for clients, ensuring to deal with any issues in a timely manner, providing excellent technical support and advice.
6. Carrying out and passing HSE audits.
7. Working closely with internal managers to ensure smooth day-to-day running of projects.
8. Preparing sites for 4 stage clearances in a timely manner & building air and bag locks.
9. Carrying out training with new and existing staff when required.
10. Checking RPE before attending site.
11. Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
12. Ensuring that all sites and equipment on site are kept secure.
