This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with policy and regulatory frameworks impacting the EV charging industry. You’ll get some great exposure as you support their Government Affairs efforts in monitoring legislative developments, assisting with policy analysis, and contributing to advocacy efforts to promote EV adoption and infrastructure expansion. What you’ll be doing: • Legislative and Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and report on legislative, regulatory, and policy developments related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure in the UK and EU. • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on specific policy issues, prepare briefing notes, and contribute to the development of policy positions and advocacy materials. • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external), including government bodies, senior management, industry partners, and environmental organisations. • Event and Meeting Support: Help organise and coordinate participation in policy forums, public hearings, and stakeholder meetings. • Communications: Support the creation of content for various platforms (e.g., website, social media) to communicate company policy positions and advocacy efforts. • Project Management: Assist with the planning and execution of government affairs projects and initiatives. What we’re looking for: • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Political Science, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or a related field • Strong interest in or understanding of the electric vehicle sector, renewable energy, and sustainability • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital communication tools • Authorisation to work in the UK Application Process: To apply for this internship, please submit your CV.
