Salary: £32k-£36k DOE (+£4000 car allowance) pro rata for part time hours
Hours: 24 Hours Part Time / Monday to Friday

The Role
Reporting to the Divisional HR Business Partner to support the People Strategy upgrading leadership capability of nursery management and teams, coaching for high performance by implementing robust policies and practices to build a strong people centric culture at Bright Horizons. Role models and develops a positive working environment promoting the core values of the organisation – HEART principles and Keeping Everyone Safe, supporting the delivery of excellent business results. This role is responsible for the management of all Employee Relations cases, identifying trends and keeping the Business Partners up to date with progress.

What You Will Be Doing:
First point of contact for all employee relations queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution or allocation to the relevant HR area of expertise.
Providing detailed advice and coaching to managers, including performance. improvement plans, investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, and grievance policies and processes.
Supporting HR Consultants with high volume employee relations case management.
Utilising HR data to identify and focus attention on priority issues with settings.
Gathering evidence to support with disciplinary and grievance hearings.
HR administration, including the production of reports, contracts and references.
Support with training and coaching of Operations teams, to ensure high quality implementation of policies and procedures.
Taking responsibility for own personal and professional development, keeping current on legislative changes.
Track and close employee relation cases in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.
Identify trends and suggest process improvements and/or additional training requirements within the division.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualification in HR – CIPD (with evidence of CPD).
Experience managing a high volume and complex employee relations caseload.
Experience working multi-site / across a number of stakeholders at any one time.
Excellence coaching skills, especially around people management processes.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Commercial awareness, and ability to translate policy into sound advice to keep the business safe and compliant.
Knowledge of employment legislation, EU directives, and regulatory requirements.
Experience within a HR advisory role in the nursery sector (desirable).
