DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Credit Solutions Manager to join our team. To maximise the credit facilities available across all customer accounts, aiding the sales team to grow the business, engaging regularly with customers and vendor visits as and when required.
Supporting 1500 customers. Engage with our network of credit managers and work with them on international deals as needed.
To manage and work with the Credit Risk team, managing risks with credit lines for customers and mitigate risks using various tools available.
Thinking outside the box on new and innovative credit solutions, looking for proactivity and reducing reactivity.
As the Credit Solutions Manager, you will:
* Proactively work with sales and our customers to maximise credit terms, ensuring needs and expectations are addressed
* Work with the Sales Director, be creative and explore new options to provide more extensive credit options
* Support and work with the finance teams to mitigate risk
* Work and build relationships with our customers' CFOs and FDs to evaluate risks
* Develop a strong working relationship with our Commercial Director, advising on potential risk and escalating as needed
* Work with the Credit Risk Manager, providing credit availability updates and credit exposure reports to the senior leadership team
* Manage the credit risk data for review and evaluation register alongside the credit risk team
* Manage order approval, archiving program and data check
* Have a good indication of our risk position at any given time
* Ability to do senior risk portfolio management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal Credit Solutions Manager will:
* FCICM Qualified or qualified by experience
* 5+ years Credit Management Experience
* Experience working in credit control would be advantageous
* Experience working in an IT distribution or IT Reseller environment and have a good knowledge of IT Reseller customers, would be preferable
* Be service driven with a can-do attitude and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally
* Be analytical and detail-oriented with strong research skills
* Be a supportive team player who is organised and thrives under pressure
* Be a confident and approachable person who is innovative, proactive, and solution-driven
* Be able to work in collaboration with the wider team to explore all avenues
* Proven track record of implementing flexible programmes to facilitate profitable growth
* Experience managing a team to required standards and efficiently and effectively dealing with performance management
