Clinical Health Apprenticeship Practitioner (Registered Nurse) - Welsh Speaker
Contract term: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37 hours over 5 days
Location: Field-based
Salary: £29,013 rising to £32,178 per annum (+ £1500 Welsh speakers uplift)
What you’ll do:
We are looking for a passionate individual to deliver and organise training, workshops and blended learning activities to enable learners to achieve all learning outcomes on the Clinical Health qualification/apprenticeship (up to level 3 QCF) as well as Essential Skills (e.g., literacy & numeracy) whilst meeting requirements of awarding organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn Common Inspection Framework and ACT. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners (up to approx. 40) ensuring timely achievement of qualifications.
The role is field-based and will require the Assessor to deliver across routes; however, the trainer will be directly line managed by the Clinical Health Route Manager.
ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and while it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
What we need from you:
* Minimum of 3 years’ occupational experience within a hospital setting caring for patients (wards or clinics)
* Registered Nurse with an active registration
* Welsh speaker
* Hold a full U.K. driving licence
* Assessor qualification (or willingness to complete)
