About the apprenticeship
Duties
You will be responsible for assisting with processing of projects from point of order to completion, including ordering materials, booking of sub-contract labour and booking plant and equipment to site.
You will have the ability to work with clients, suppliers and contractors to achieve results without compromising quality or safety of work carried out by BSE UK.
Your bias for action will enable you to assist with the administration of a number of projects at various stages of completion and be willing to learn some technical interfaces both internally and externally that affect the project.
To ensure that progress is reported regularly and effectively any potential problems, i.e. Technical, Contractual, Cost & Programme issues, are highlighted at the earliest opportunity to the contract administrator and project managers as appropriate.
Help to maintain a close working relationship with Customers, Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
Develop and maintain product knowledge to ensure that each project is fully understood and therefore co-ordinated with the various internal functions.
Work within the procedures & processes laid down by the company.
Development and maintenance of highest levels of on-site health and safety.
Ensure on time invoicing procedures in line with Contractual guidelines and quoted payment terms.
Maintain all drawing & file records.
Recognise & maximise any sales opportunities that may arise and pass on to Sales Team.

Qualifications
5 GCSE’s Grade 4 or above including Maths and EnglishWe would be looking for someone who is outgoing with a positive outlook. Someone who is computer literate, has a good telephone manner and has strong communication skills. The candidate will be required to work closely with a colleague and other members of the team completing administration tasks on live projects. It is important that the candidate is willing to learn and be part of a team. The role will be office based.
