Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: 1. Provide tailored academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN). 2. Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities. 3. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of subject matter. 4. Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly. 5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' overall development. Required Qualifications: - Experience working with students with SEN - Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Strong organisational and time-management skills - Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN) - Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours - Work may involve travel to different educational settings - Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and other professionals - Adherence to safeguarding and SEN policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
