Are you tired of being stuck in a repetitive role, handling the same small tasks every day? As a Manufacturing Engineer, wouldn’t you prefer to take ownership of the entire process—from design to manufacture, assembly and beyond? Here’s your chance. Join a cutting-edge project where your skills will make a real difference. We’ve just completed a critical design review and released the drawings, and now we’re getting ready to process parts on brand-new WFL Mill Turn machines. This is your opportunity to be involved at every stage: What You’ll Be Doing Stage 1: Initial Manufacture of Parts Starting in January or February, you’ll help prove out machining processes on our newly acquired WFL Mill Turn machines. You’ll work closely with the design and production teams to turn drawings into reality, ensuring every process is set up to meet customer needs. Stage 2: Fine-Tuning the Machines This hands-on phase, lasting 10 to 12 months, is where your expertise comes into play. You’ll optimise machining operations, troubleshoot problems, and refine processes to deliver top-quality parts efficiently and reliably. Stage 3: Preparing for Delivery By August 2026, the focus shifts to preparing and delivering fully assembled, tested, and qualified kits to the customer. You’ll oversee assembly, system testing, and final checks to make sure everything is perfect and ready to ship. Stage 4: Stabilising Production Once the high-activity phase wraps up, the focus will turn to stabilising production processes. You’ll ensure operations run efficiently, repeatably, and to the highest quality standards, building a foundation for smooth production. Stage 5: Continuous Improvement Over the following two years, you’ll lead process improvements, introduce automation, and ensure the production processes are capable, stable, and future-proof. Your work will play a key role in shaping the long-term success of the project. What We’re Looking For - Experience with Siemens NX CAM, Teamcenter, and NX Design tools. - A track record of developing manufacturing processes from scratch. - Knowledge of WFL Mill Turn machines or similar advanced equipment. - A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle varied responsibilities. This isn’t just another job. It’s a career-defining opportunity to work on a major, long-term project where you’ll be involved in every stage of the process. You’ll collaborate with design, production, and senior management while leaving a lasting impact on a cutting-edge programme. From proving out processes, to delivering a fully assembled product, to driving innovation and improvements, you’ll be at the centre of it all. If you’re ready to move beyond the ordinary and take on a role where your skills and ideas truly matter, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and let’s talk about what you can achieve with us.
