DSV are recruiting for HR Assistant at DSV Wythenshawe. This role will support administration and recruitment across all three of our divisions, reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner.
This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, based in our Wythenshawe Office 5 days per week.
Key Tasks
1. Draft and send offer documentation (contracts and new starter documents) to successful candidates, ensuring effective and timely communication.
2. Manage the new starter process from collating completed documentation to onboarding, ensuring successful setup on the HR system ahead of Payroll deadlines.
3. Arrange interviews and relevant correspondence.
4. Produce administration, communications to mailing lists, and ensure HR recruitment filing is maintained within company guidelines and GDPR.
5. Add, input, and check data on various HR systems, including Employee Central (SuccessFactors), regarding the employee lifecycle.
6. Ensure and maintain the validity of data on the central HR system.
7. Act as a DSV brand ambassador, ensuring a first-class service is provided at all times.
Duties / Responsibilities
1. Ensure the Recruitment Inbox is maintained and queries are answered within SLA requirements.
2. Build relationships with Hiring Managers and assist with additional candidate sourcing across online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards).
3. Build candidate pools for Hiring Managers, particularly for those ‘hard to fill’ roles.
4. Assist the HR Specialist with policy and employee relations (ER) queries, offering advice to the business.
5. Produce HR administration letters related to the employee lifecycle (e.g., changes in terms and conditions, flexible working changes, leaver letters).
6. Support the HR team with ad-hoc priorities and assist the Senior HR Specialist with query management from the HR Central inbox as needed.
7. Manage queries ranging from HR phone lines, email inboxes, and face-to-face queries on-site.
8. Support the HR Training Specialist and Senior HR Business Partner in arranging external job fairs and sourcing venues.
Skills and Competencies
1. Previous experience in a HR Admin Role.
2. Experience with candidate sourcing (Linked In Searches, Jobs Boards).
3. Basic understanding of HR Best practice.
4. High Accuracy skills.
5. Customer focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion.
6. Work on own initiative, prioritise and manage workload effectively.
7. Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
