The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the business by providing actionable insights through financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to strategic decision-making, helping to drive performance and identify opportunities for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong financial analysis background looking to take the next step in their career.
This is a high-profile role involving interaction across the business at all levels with both financial and non-financial people. Attention to detail, flexibility and a can-do attitude are prerequisites for this role.
Responsibilities
* Taking responsibility for the financial reporting side of the gunnercooke group of companies, including setting and overseeing relevant processes.
* Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis and produce comprehensive reports for decision-making.
* Create and present detailed reports, dashboards, and performance packs using advanced tools and visualization tools.
* Own the preparation of in-depth financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
* Present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and impactful way, enabling data-driven decision-making.
* Partner with business units to assess financial impacts of operational decisions and propose improvements.
* Monitor key business metrics, assess trends, and provide insights for long-term planning.
* Act as a trusted partner to the FD, senior leadership, and business unit heads, providing financial insights and recommendations.
* Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
* Manage, mentor and motivate the finance team.
* Dealing with mid-level and high-level queries that come into the department from the Leadership Team, fee earners and clients.
* Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
* Undertake any further work, tasks or projects as reasonably requested by the Finance Director. Complete the same to the required standards and within agreed timescales.

Experience
* Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in a senior role.
