Job Description:
MCJ Fabrications Ltd is a small to medium sized company with a total workforce of 50 people, based in West Yorkshire. We design, manufacture, and install specialist architectural metalwork in mild steel and stainless steel, and have CE accreditation for all our products.
We currently turn over approximately £5m with a view to expanding this to £6m over the next two years. We have a healthy order book with works secured for 2025 and a loyal client base.
We now require an experienced ‘hands-on’ Contracts Manager who must have experience in the construction industry, with a sound knowledge of construction contracts and legal requirements. This role involves planning and coordinating with an experienced team of contract managers and site supervisors.
Knowledge of metalwork/structural steel is essential as this person will also be expected to liaise with clients, run projects autonomously, and attend meetings/surveying nationwide.
This person must possess good communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and spreadsheets, and maintain a professional manner.
Candidates must hold a valid driving license and be accustomed to working under pressure to deliver contracts within tight programmes/deadlines and budgets.
