Job Description Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Generalist, based in Aberdeen. This has been released on a PAYE contract until the end of November 2025.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialist advice to management and employees on collective employee relations issues.
Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
Review and update existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
Develop new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with the client’s values.
Collaborate with PO network locally and globally as needed to build awareness of policies and pending legislation, eg Harassment.
Support in the co-ordination of the UK Works Council to drive employee engagement.
Keep abreast of any changes or developments in UK employment law and update UK PO network.
Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed
Specific Requirements:
Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent)
Strong competence in Employee Relations
Experience in supporting offshore/operational teams in addition to onshore teams
Negotiations and diplomacy skills
