Senior Media Strategist - Bath. Hybrid Working. £40K This data-driven media agency based in Bath are looking for a Media Strategist. They prioritise effectiveness and sustainability in delivering successful campaigns for their clients. They challenge traditional marketing approaches and focus on finding the best solutions tailored to each brand's needs. As a Senior Media Strategist, you will be responsible for supporting Media Account Directors on their larger client accounts and managing a couple of your own smaller media clients. You'll be instrumental in cultivating loyal and trusted business relationships, working with the key client stakeholders and the wider team to ensure we meet their objectives and present innovative and effective strategies, to produce compelling results to grow their business. This Senior Media Strategist will: • Support Account Directors on some of our larger client accounts.• Lead for several accounts being the key contact (internally & externally) for maintaining top class client service. • Plan and buy offline media campaigns (press, inserts, door drop etc) as per clients’ strategies. • Have overall responsibility for account performance, growth, and financials. • Identify trends and pro-actively develop new opportunities, continuously look at ways of increasing margins by pro-actively pushing clients to test new opportunities and initiatives. • Prepare for and attend regular client meetings producing client presentations including campaign results, performance forecasting, manipulation, interpretation, and presentation of results with rationales and recommendations for future planning. • Establish credibility and earn respect by depth of knowledge. • Recommend the new and the different for clients. This Senior Media Strategist will have: • At least 2 years’ experience of planning and buying offline media (press, inserts, door drop, etc). • Demonstrable project management skills. • Strong and adjustable skills in negotiation. • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally with people at all levels. • Proactive and enthusiastic self-starter. • Confident and engaging presentation skills. • Excellent MS office skills. • Meticulous attention to detail. • A proven ability in using insight (both consumer and numerate) to produce and substantiate media plans. • Has a consultative personality: able to actively involve and consider input of key internal colleagues.
