Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice who are seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while contributing to the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Client Portfolio Manager:
* Manage a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their primary point of contact
* Deliver accurate financial statements, tax returns, and business advice on time
* Review work prepared by junior staff, providing training and mentoring
* Ensure compliance with current tax laws and accounting standards
* Support clients with advisory services, tax planning, and general financial matters
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and service delivery
Ideal Profile of the Client Portfolio Manager:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within practice
* Strong technical knowledge in accounting and taxation
* Proven track record of managing client relationships
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) – IRIS experience desirable
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
