Job Summary
The post holder will be based at St Johns Court, Exmouth and will be line managed by the Consultant Psychiatrist within the team. They will be responsible for carrying a small caseload, supporting colleagues with complex cases, and providing prescribing advice.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be expected to cover days at Devon Memory Service (DMS). In the absence of senior colleagues, the post holder will be responsible for leading team meetings and supporting with triaging new patients to the team.
As a prescriber in the team, the post holder will be expected to support the prescribing needs of care homes and assist in decision making for the new Post Diagnostic Follow Up (PDFU) Service. The post holder will also monitor and lead improvements of standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, implementation of evidence-based practice, teaching, and support of colleagues and professional leadership.

Person Specification
Planning and Organisational Skills (Essential):
