General Overview: Elevation Recruitment Group’s – Marketing Division are pleased to be exclusively working with a thriving manufacturer. This is a brand new role reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director and will be heavily involved in leading the marketing strategy, driving brand awareness and lead generation through digital and traditional marketing activities. As the Marketing Manager you will help increase understanding of the products and solutions our client offers across a diverse market of sectors.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the external agency, budget management and leading all the major marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering growth for small to mid-sized companies.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that balances new customer acquisition with cross-sell and up-sell initiatives within the existing customer base.
* Develop marketing strategy for integrating the existing stand-alone marketing and sales databases.
Budget Management:
* Manage existing advertising and exhibition budgets and develop a new strategy for the upcoming business plan.
* Manage entire marketing budget across internal marketing efforts and the external agency.
Digital Marketing:
* Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement and conversions.
* Create content for blogs, social media, and the website.
* Maintain current website, develop website, and optimize both to a satisfactory level.
* Create case studies to showcase products and solutions across different sectors.
Branding:
* Create and maintain documents, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visuals.
* Produce a new corporate brochure.
* Create online blogs using content provided internally for the purpose of people, product, and compliance.
PR and Communications:
* Regular PR coverage to build brand credibility.
* Monthly internal e-newsletters for the communications of employees and to increase engagement.
* Work with industry bodies and local/trade media to increase brand awareness.
SEO & Content:
* Social media content to build external engagement.
* Assist marketing agency with the SEO strategy.
* Create presentations used in B2B meetings targeting sector/client audiences.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
* Set and track KPIs for all campaigns, using data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing performance.
* Report on all campaigns to the Sales and Marketing Director for sales and board meetings, demonstrating ROI and continuous improvement.
* Interact at director level to advise on strategy and how the marketing campaigns are performing.
Stakeholder and Agency Management:
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineers, and shop floor workers to collate content used for the marketing strategy.
* Manage external agency relationships to supplement in-house expertise where needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in a B2B marketing role, with demonstrable success in growing small to mid-sized companies.
* Experience in managing external agencies.
* Experience of working within the Manufacturing industry or a similar industry, as knowledge of compliance procedures is required.
* Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset, coupled with a track record of achieving measurable results.
* Advanced analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics and other marketing performance platforms.
